Black Friday and Cyber Monday Shopping Tips 2019

31 Oct

This year Black Friday will be on November 29th and Cyber Monday is on December 2nd.

A bit later than other years – but great timing for holiday shopping!

Every year it gets bigger in Canada and more stores participate. This isn’t just for the big box stores either – a lot of smaller online retailers and local stores and companies are participating too.

It’s a great time to get a deal on some bigger ticket items you’ve been waiting forĀ  – but also for christmas gifts, but even just your regular, average shopping. Things like clothes, pet supplies, personal care items can be on huge discounts. If you like certain brands or stores, make sure to follow them online to see – and don’t worry, as always I’ll be posting up all of the best deals!

If you have certain items in mind and they will be the doorcrasher types, be ready to wait in line. You can even be lucky and score one online – but for certain things the stores only have a few, so if you want those savings you’d have to be there bright and early.

If you’re planning to get clothing or shoes for you or your family – whether online or instore, get all your sizes together in advance. That way you’re totally ready – especially when it’s a hot item, you don’t want to be stuck trying to figure out the correct size.

If you’re planning on shopping online – get ready for that too. If you’re using gift or prepaid cards, make sure those are in order. If you’re using Rakuten (formerly ebates) get that in order too. Knowing your passwords for everything and being logged in before the sales start is great – even just having your address info correct can save you time – every second counts if you’re trying to get whatever the hottest items will be this year.

Make sure to follow me on facebook and Instagram as I’ll post everything up as we get closer.

So, are you planning on shopping Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals?
