If you’re looking for cheap furniture, mattresses or appliances, Dufresne is having an auction tomorrow Sunday the 16th at 9am.
You can go early to view at 830am, I know when we went once you could see all the stuff set up and numbered the night before too. Worth a peek if you want to get a game plan together. It’s usually quite a bit of stuff – they list it as sofas, bedrooms, mattresses, dining rooms, appliances and more. Pretty much anything for the home you can imagine is there.
It’s sold as is and where is – from what we saw when we went most stuff was in great shape and there was actually quite a huge selection.
It’s at 880 Nairn ave and this is a one day auction. The deals depend on how much everyone bids of course, but I’ve heard a lot of stuff goes from average of 25-50% of original value.
Has anyone been before? Any tips to offer?
We have been to many of the auctions and have bought many pieces. Evverything from a matress set queen for $600 and couches for $250, fabric one as well! I bought a lovely corner chair , big enough for you and a cat to snuggle for $99!! Its great fun and if you are not too anal about everything looking the same its win win for new furniture !!!!
