If you’re looking for a great family movie, make sure to check out Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
Last weekend a bunch of us got to see the premiere in Winnipeg and it was a huge hit with the crowd.
My daughter and her friends loved the movie, all the kids were glued to the screen the whole time and there was lots of giggling happening.
The movie is based on the book – it’s about a family having the worst day ever and how they deal with it. There’s lots of hilarious and weird things that happen to them, it was great to see how a family can stick together and overcome those moments in life. And Alexander who has days like that all the time gets to see how his family deals with his reality.
The movie opens today everywhere. I’d say this movie is good for ages 4 and up – it’s one that grownups will really enjoy too. There were some seniors alone at the premiere and they enjoyed it just as much as the kids. It’s one of those movies that kids and adults will like, and boys and girls too – there’s really something in it for everyone. Let me know what you guys think, and enjoy the movie! 🙂
