by Nadine on November 6, 2017

If you’re planning on taking the kids to see Santa, there are a lot of choices in Winnipeg.

Lots of different looks too – and different prices.

  • The Santa at St. Vital Centre will be arriving on Nov. 14th at 5pm. The first 100 visitors get free milk and cookies.
  • The one at Polo Park arrives on Nov. 18th. This year you can actually reserve your time in advance which is great – and they will still be taking walkups too.
  • Grant Park Santa arrives on Nov. 25th.
  • Santa at Garden City arrives Nov. 18th at 12pm.
  • Cabela’s is having their camo Santa again on Dec. 2nd and 3rd, and 9th and 10th.
  • Shelmerdine’s is having a lot of times for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus – these are by appointment only. All kinds of other great holiday events too!
  • St. Mary’s Nursery has a lot of holiday events too – family days with visits with Santa and all kinds of neat activities for the whole family!
  • Lower Fort Garry is having a Red River Christmas on Dec. 9th and 10th. You have to buy tickets, but there’s a family pack for $28 and it looks like a great time. Like an old time Christmas, and also some pics with Santa of course!
  • St. Boniface Museum is having Christmas at the Museum on Nov. 25th from 11am to 6pm. All kinds of activities and crafts, a fire and hot chocolate and pictures with Santa.
  • Fort Whyte has their Santa in the Forest on Nov. 26th and Dec. 3rd from 11am to 3pm. You have to register for this one in advance online or on the phone.
  • Oak Hammock Marsh is having Santa at the Marsh on Nov. 25th from noon to 3pm. There will be wagon rides and all kinds of fun family activities too.
  • Ikea will have their Santa on Dec. 3rd from 9am to 10:30am – see stores or website for full info.
  • Santa will be at the Observatory at Assiniboine Park from 10am to 2pm on Saturday Dec. 2nd. Bring your own camera, and suggested donation is $5.
