Back to school is coming….but Manyfest is too! We always look forward to it, the kids have a couple of days of school and then there’s a whole weekend of fun happening on Broadway downtown.
There’s a ton of stuff for the whole family – there’s a movie in Memorial park sunday night, there’s food truck wars, wine and beer garden, vendors set up, and all kinds of neat activities all weekend long.
It runs from September 8th to 10th and it takes up most of Broadway! Good idea to take the bus, bike or walk there – or plan your parking in advance. There’s a map on the site to help with parking.
A fun way to celebrate back to school, get out and have fun and see all kinds of neat stuff. And of course, food trucks! Lots and lots of food trucks! 🙂
You can plan to spend an entire day there with the family, and check out the night time activities too. Lots of great bands playing all weekend long.
My tip is to bring a backpack or two, and maybe even a blanket. There’s not a lot of seating for the foodtrucks, but you can take your food and go sit in the park. Expect long lineups for the foodtrucks, and remember to bring cash as not all the vendors and trucks will take cards.
