The Lego store has been open a few weeks now, but they’re having their grand opening events this week. If you haven’t been yet, it’s at Polo Park.
On July 24th at 11am they will be building an 8 foot tall Yoda entirely of of Lego’s! Master Builder Paul Chrzan will be there – he crafted a lot of the models that appeared in The Lego Movie which is super cool! You can get a certificate of achievement for participating. Should be fun, and something neat to see. They will keep working on it all weekend!
During those 3 days, the first 300 people to make a qualifying purchase at the Lego store will get some exclusive giveaways:
Friday: FREE Collectible LEGO T-Shirt with a $50 purchase
Saturday: FREE Limited-Edition LEGO Store Set with a $99 purchase
Sunday: FREE Exclusive LEGO Minifigure Set with a $50 purchase
All of those are while supplies last of course, and one per transaction. I like that you can choose which day to go, depending on what you, or your kid would prefer as an extra. There’s also going to be in store offers, raffles and more!
