Five Water Parks you need to check out this summer in Manitoba!

With the warm weather on it’s way, it’s the perfect time to start thinking of some trips to water parks in Manitoba and there are several to chose from!

  • Splash Island Waterpark in Portage is opening for the season on Friday June 2nd at 4pm. There are slides and activities for all ages – including a lazy river, kiddy slides and some giant waterslides. Adults are $8.50, kids are $6.50 and there’s a family rate of $30. You can also bring your own food in.

  • Fun Mountain has a lot of waterslides for the entire family, and also bumper boats, mini golf and more. You cannot bring your own food and there’s no family rate. It’s from $22 to $30 per person on average.

  • Turtle Tides Water Slides near Grand Beach has over 1700 feet of water slides! You can camp in the area, even bring in a small cooler for your own food. They have the Bullet waterslide which goes up to 75km/hour – something for the thrill seekers! Average rate is $17 per person, and there’s no family discounts.

Lilac Resort is twenty minutes outside of Winnipeg. You pay to get in for the day (or go camping) and get to enjoy the pool, waterslides, tiki juice bar and more. You need to buy a membership for $10 to buy the day passes, which are $21 per person. There’s a lot of extras that come with your day pass too – you get access to all the resort’s recreational facilities, activities and entertainment.

  • The Steinbach Aquatic Centre has an indoor section, so you can even save this one for a rainy day! It’s 24,000 square feet of fun! There’s a family rate of $26.
  • It can even be rented out for parties and events!
