Five Water Parks you need to check out this summer in Manitoba!

With the warm weather on it’s way, it’s the perfect time to start thinking of some trips to water parks in Manitoba and there are several to chose from

 

Splish Splash Waterpark is now open in Minnedosa and Morden. Open 7 days a week – can buy daily passes or pay hourly. Life jackets are supplied and mandatory.

 

 

 

 


  • Splash Island Waterpark in Portage is opening for the season on Friday June 2nd at 4pm. There are slides and activities for all ages – including a lazy river, kiddy slides and some giant waterslides. Adults are $8.50, kids are $6.50 and there’s a family rate of $30. You can also bring your own food in.

 

 

 

 

 

Lilac Resort is twenty minutes outside of Winnipeg. You pay to get in for the day (or go camping) and get to enjoy the pool, waterslides, tiki juice bar and more. You need to buy a membership for $10 to buy the day passes, which are $21 per person. There’s a lot of extras that come with your day pass too – you get access to all the resort’s recreational facilities, activities and entertainment.   ***For 2020 it looks like you need to book camping site to go.

 

  • The Steinbach Aquatic Centre has an indoor section, so you can even save this one for a rainy day! It’s 24,000 square feet of fun! There’s a family rate of $26.
  • It can even be rented out for parties and events!

****Indoor area is closed for a bit for upgrades – but check before going. Outdoor still open.
