17 Apr

Earth Day is on April 22nd and there’s lots of fun things happening around and outside the city for it!

  • Fort Whyte Alive has free admission all day long and special events from 10am to 4pm. There’s music, vendors, special family activities and much more. You can check it all out on their site.
  • Oak Hammock Marsh has activities from 10am to 4:30pm. Compost tour, trash walk and much more.
  • Childrens Museum has special earth day stuff from 11am to 3pm – learn about bees, forestry and more!
  • The Forks has Eco Tours all afternoon long. Meet up for the tour in front of the Pancake house at 1,2,3 and 4pm.

Great day to clean up your own area too – head out for a walk and pick up some trash or come up with ideas with the kids on how to improve things locally etc.
