From Feb. 7th to 9th at St. Vital Centre, the Children’s Hospital is having their very popular book market sale. In 2012, the Book Market raised a record breaking $447,211 in support of child health and pediatric research – that is amazing!! I love the idea to raise money while encouraging people to read more.
There’s thousands and thousands of books in 65 categories – worth going to take a peek through them.
And if you have books to donate you can drop them off at Winnipeg Firehalls – there’s 3 sales a year so you don’t have to hold onto them for a long time waiting.
