If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, it’s Canada Parks Day. It’s actually a weekend long event though – from July 17th to 19th you get free admission into our Provincial Parks!
There’s events at all the parks too, things for the whole family. The parks included are Birds Hill, Spruce Woods, Grand Beach, St. Norbert, Hecla, St. Malo, Lockport, Winnipeg Beach, River Road and Whiteshell.
You can check the site for times and events. It’s pretty varied from place to place, and it’s all free! If you’re camping you still pay camp fees of course, but if you’re just going for the day it’s a great free outing!
